The Nalati Grassland in northwest Chinas Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has been providing some breathtaking scenery since June, with its vast expanse of lush grasslands dotted with colorful wildflowers offering a stunning spectacle throughout the summer months.
The Nalati Grassland, also known as the "the Grassland of the Sky" for its high altitude and steep terrain, is an ancient pasture famous for its beautiful landscapes and more than 140 types of high-quality plants.
Together with the Hulun Buir and Xilin Gol grasslands in north Chinas Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Pampas Steppe which spans several countries in South America, the Nalati Grassland is one of the four largest grasslands in the world.
Nalati is also home to the Kazakh ethnic group, who are well known for their hospitality, folklore, and traditional song and dance customs.
